This is an emotional and heartfelt woman fiction. Evie is beautiful, resilient and supportive. Her story is heartbreaking. The back and forth, past to present, helps to understand her situation. Butler, an ex-football player and the new high school coach in town, is very handsome, sweet, charming and determined. The romance between them is beautiful. The bond between Evie and her mother was so strong and exceptional. Evie's best friend is a wonderful supporting character. I loved this very emotional and beautiful story. Laura Jennings did an excellent job with the narration.
