Dr Jennifer Tremaine usually has everything under control, she is the master of multi-tasking. But when an unexpected storm, bound for her rural town in New Zealand everything is thrown into chaos. And suddenly her professional prowess is put under pressure.

But then a white knight arrives in the form of surgeon Andrew Stephenson. Jennifer should be thrilled, but she and Andrew have history. They haven’t seen each other since medical school and for their entire careers, they have been in constant competition. But now they have to put their tension to one side for the sake of their patients. And suddenly Jennifer begins to feel safe and calm in Andrew’s presence. Seeing beyond their rivalry she’s struck by butterflies of chemistry she never saw coming. But she cannot be distracted, and must until the storm blows over resist the surgeon who is back in her life.
