About this audiobook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The seven-time #1 New York Times bestselling author, Fox News star, and radio host Mark R. Levin explains how the dangers he warned against in the “timely yet timeless” (David Limbaugh, author of Jesus Is Risen) bestseller Liberty and Tyranny have come to pass.

In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable manifesto Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism’s threat to our freedom and now, over a decade later, we’re fully over that precipice and paying the price.

In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture—from our schools, the press, and corporations, to Hollywood, the Democratic Party, and the Biden presidency—and how it is often cloaked in deceptive labels like “progressivism,” “democratic socialism,” “social activism,” and more. With his characteristic trenchant analysis, Levin digs into the psychology and tactics of these movements, the widespread brainwashing of students, the anti-American purposes of Critical Race Theory and the Green New Deal, and the escalation of repression and censorship to silence opposing voices and enforce conformity. Levin exposes many of the institutions, intellectuals, scholars, and activists who are leading this revolution, and provides us with some answers and ideas on how to confront them.

As Levin writes: “The counter-revolution to the American Revolution is in full force. And it can no longer be dismissed or ignored for it is devouring our society and culture, swirling around our everyday lives, and ubiquitous in our politics, schools, media, and entertainment.” And, like before, Levin seeks to rally the American people to defend their liberty.

Mark's vast work experience in govt and factual research sets him above the many talking heads on the news and all the so-called journalists ONLY give a biased opinion. His knowledge and facts are impossible for his critics to refute, which is why they hate him so much that is if they bother to even take the time to read or listen to what he or anyone with an opposing view has to say. It's not hard to understand why only one side wants to censor speech, and the other side is not afraid of debate

This book is just an opinion of a man who wants it believed as the truth, but opinions are feelings NOT facts! MAGA fascists want to turn our democracy into a Nazi dictatorship in 2024, but I didn't see that anywhere in his book or is it because it's an opposing opinion to his? Voting Americans, need to stop sending the politicians to D.C, who betray their oath to defend democracy and who want to put a treasonous crook back into the White House while acting like Jan 6th,2021 didn't happen!

Never has Levin demonstrated his complete ignorance of political philosophy, ideology and the history of political thought as he does so thoroughly in this random collection of propaganda. Using "marxism" in the title is transparently an attempt to attract his tiny audience on Fox to buy this nonsense (added to that he does his best "used car salesman" attempt to promote this waste of paper to try and prevent it joining his other efforts in the Surplus Titles stores). He rants about "critical race theory", "critical immigration theory" - whatever that is - as part of the "Marxist" takeover of America. In fact, the actual Karl Marx (who died 140 odd years ago) would not have a clue what these supposed theories are about. Levin's writing is symptomatic of a person with a seriously disordered and ill-informed perception of what he rants about. It is no wonder the timeslot of his show on Fox is on a Sunday for his loyal disturbed audience of 8 viewers.
