It seemed right at that moment that the world was indeed our oyster. Cody and I were finally free and in love. We had done it. It was hard to believe we had and I thought back at those times when we were both huddling for warmth back in the Pit and we had first talked and fantasized about Portugal. We ate and drank on and clichés became our friends, as did our reflections in the glass sitting next to us, smiling and toasting back at us."
