About the author
Barbara Rose Brooker, age activist, teacher, painter, and poet, has published eleven books of fiction and won a National Library Award for her poetry. She has appeared frequently on The Today Show, The Talk, ET, Andy Cohen, and Watch What Happens Live. She lives in San Francisco.
