Battle Tested

Laura Scott is the author of over fifty books, including the Crystal Lake, the Lifeline Air Rescue, and the McNallys series. Laura works as a critical-care nurse during the day at a large level-one trauma center and spends her spare time writing romance. She lives with her husband in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Angie Hickman has been in love with words for as long as she can remember. She received a BA in secondary English education from Indiana University while also performing in theater. She expanded her passion for words through her work in libraries and bookstores, as a high school English teacher, and now, as a narrator.
