I just don't think the writer has a great insight on the mind of a creative person. A lot of this just feels like general life advice that sometimes feels directed to the stereotype of an artist, like she’s trying to talk around us. She’s pointed in the right direction, like she’s right on how money is a difficult subject for us, but not why.
