It was the end of World War II. FDR's New Deal had redefined American politics. Taxes were at an all-time high. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had created a fear of total annihilation. John Shirley has written novels, short stories, TV scripts, screenplays, lyrics, poetry, songs, and nonfiction. More than forty of his novels have been published and many of his short stories have been compiled in eight short-story collections. As a musician, Shirley has written lyrics for Blue Öyster Cult and others.
Jeffrey Kafer is a full-time SAG-AFTRA audiobook narrator with a career spanning thirteen years. He has narrated over 1000 books in almost every genre.
