After four years on the bloody battlefields of Europe during World War II, Army Staff Sergeant Mark Shaw returns home to Arizona with nothing but the hope of living a quiet existence and chasing the sunset on horseback forevermore. With their help, the violent afterimages of the war begin to fade, and life blooms again from the hollow shell it left behind. The only thing he lacks is the right horse on which to chase that sunset once more.

Western Heritage Award and three-time Spur Award winner Dusty Richards authored over 100 acclaimed westerns. An inductee of the Arkansas Writers Hall of Fame, Dusty was also the recipient of the Will Rogers Medallion Award for Western Fiction and was honored by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2009.

Justin Price is a noir-themed storyteller with a penchant for comedy and dark thoughts. His devotion to creeping inside the minds of characters shows in his colorful narration. He lives in sunny Florida with his loving family, but longs for a haunted mansion somewhere dreary and destitute.

Velda Brotherton writes from her home perched on the side of a mountain against the Ozark National Forest. While known for her successful series work--the Twist of Poe romantic mysteries, as well as her signature Western historical romances--her publishing resume includes numerous standalone novels.
