So much potential but narrator was horrible!storyline had way too much going on. Obviously written by man, read to be a 30 yr old woman by a 60 yr old smoker doesn't fit. The over done attitude, accents and delivery of said characters ruined a possibly good story. The story name and cover is misleading. Starts off as cheesey but had potential at points to tell a story of magic, space, and other dimensions. But it's so busy and crazy it jumps around. Stereotypes is over done. Better read

I was entertained enough to listen through the end, but not without a fair share of facepalms. Decent audiobook, not raunchy or romancey. THE NARRATOR! ohmy. She's likely a wonderful woman, and a talented narrator. However, her performance in this audiobook is not fitting to the characters or the story. The author is creative, took the storyline all over the place; aliens, ghosts, conspiracies, sexy police?, and a laundry list of things that would never happen🙃 I guess I wouldn't tell you not to give it a whirl.

I couldn't finish this book. Which is a big deal because I always finish even badly written books. This is a first. Its obviously written by a man because all it talks about is cars and drinking, and not even well. The story isn't realistic for a cop. You have to be able to invest enough in a character to want to know their story. Sorry, but the characters aren't likable or someone I want to hate or care about their story. Story could be tweaked and made readable. But not a fan and now based on this book I likely won't read anything else by this author.
