About this audiobook

"Truly terrifying. The kind of story that sticks with you long after the final page is turned." — Booklist

The international bestselling author of Her and The Social Affair returns with another suspenseful thriller that very well could be set in the house next door.

Jack Mooney, a career criminal, has been in prison for nearly a decade, quietly nursing his hatred for the jurors who put him there. One in particular gets him through the endless days--the alluring Amy Stone.

When Mooney is granted early release, he makes Amy his first priority. To his delight, she's even more enticing than before, and better still, she has a lot more to lose than he'd imagined.

As Mooney's campaign of terror mounts, the police seem powerless to protect the Stone family, who must rely on their wits to survive a psychopath hell-bent on revenge.

***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ***** Savage Row is what I'd term a slow burn psychological suspense that messes with your mind and has you questioning who to trust. Britney King writes a taunt story that'll keep listeners engaged and seeking more. Savage Row starts out with a pretty normal family. They're rushing about with two working parents and activities for the kids. Things start to go wrong slowly. I found King has a way of making me question what I think or know. It isn't scary persay but it messes with your head with your psychi. King makes you look around your life and see things slightly different... like that overly friendly guy at the coffee shop that seems too interested in you or the new neighbor down the road that seems to be everywhere you are and slightly turning into you. Yeah, she makes you wonder if there's something more happening or if it's all in your head. I enjoyed the narration by Laure Jennings. I'm a pretty avid audiobook listener and I'm positive I've never listened to this narrator before Savage Row. I thought she did well portraying an average woman under duress. She doesn't loose it or go off at all. Jennings portrayed a working class, average white woman flawlessly. She could be any woman out there... me or you, your coworker or child's teacher at school. I think that's what makes it soo good... Amy is just a regular woman and Jennings portrays the character very well. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
