關於本有聲書

When Ezra discovers that his much-loved daughter Sadie moves about with weakness and twisted legs, he does everything possible to keep away the institutions that wish to claim her, so that can live a normal life. But when you are broken and abnormal, how much of a normal life can be lived? This is a question Sadie must wrestle with for her entire life, leading to a bitter hatred and rejection of herself.

Kieran is a boy with white eyes and a kind soul. Having aided a disabled girl at a soiree, he and Sadie become almost inseparable. But when the world slips into chaos, he and Ezra are called to help, leaving Sadie in the care of her aunt. While away, Kieran enters hell, which twists and breaks him into something cold, empty, and brimming with guilt.

Can Sadie learn to accept herself? Will Kieran be swallowed by his guilt, or are they destined to remain broken for the rest of their lives?

關於作者

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Erica grew up in New South Wales Australia. For as long as she can remember, she has always been reading and writing. Falling into a world of fiction was an escape from the difficulties of her reality. The first story she wrote was around 1995, and it was about a poodle. She was six years old. Now in her thirties, she has a Diploma in Professional Novel Writing, and has published several free novels on Inkitt, under the username LittleQuill.

As fictional worlds and characters helped her through her hard and lonely times, she hopes that the ones she creates can do the same for others.

When Erica is not tapping away on her keyboard and Microsoft Word, she enjoys video games, and being surrounded by the things she loves most. Her budgies, two cats, her husband, and of course, her much adored loved books.
