About this audiobook

The last man she wants is exactly who she needs . . .

Eyre

With nothing left to lose, I bought the first plane ticket to Ireland to find myself. Maybe that’s why I was so annoyed when a handsome Irishman insisted I join his tour and then offered me a place to stay in his hometown. Something about him made me say yes–an unfamiliar feeling that he would understand me. Or it could have been all the Mr. Darcy jokes at his expense. But my heart is closed for business.

Darby

It was just another rainy day, leading a mundane tour around the Cliffs of Moher–until I saw her. The most beautiful woman with the saddest eyes, standing so close to the edge. Not even my jaded heart could ignore her. Without a second to lose, I went to her. With her first sarcastic remark, I think my fate was sealed. And before I knew it, I was inviting her to join my tour. I believed if I could show her the heart of Ireland, it might restore hers.

Darby has demons that make him guard his heart. Eyre’s heart might open to Ireland, but will she let herself fall in love with this man?

Will these star-crossed lovers allow themselves to fall for each other?

THE IRISH FALL is a standalone, 'sweet,' closed-door travel romance. Read if you like grumpy yet charming Irishmen, lots of banter, funny grandfather and grandson sparring, heartwarming moments, emotional journeys, quirky Border Collies, and plenty of swoony kisses. (No cursing, descriptive kissing, and some faith conversations).

Rep: “Own Voices” Esophageal Crohn’s, Ovarian Cysts, arthritic pain, and Mental Health. Endometriosis and PTSD are also represented.

------------------------------------------

Triggers (spoilers may be included): PTSD attacks, infertility, depictions of chronic pain, and discussion of suicidal thought.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars DISCLAIMER: I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I really liked this book, it was cute and fluffy. It does touch on harder topics so maybe check trigger warnings before reading; however, it doesn’t go too deep because it is a fluffy book. It was a light book that didn’t have to much else but I think that is good for a rom-comy book like this. Also, I just want to note that the male narrator was great and has a lovely accent.

THE IRISH FALL, Audiobook - Narrated by Brooke Gilbert and Daragh Fleming. Length: 11 hrs 7 mins. Extra: Includes a PDF file. (See complete review on GoodReads.) It is an added bonus that Ms. Gilbert narrates Eyre since the author's real life experiences gives her a range of emotions, pain, and reactions that can be heard and felt in her voice. Her reading is first person instead of second hand heresy. Mr. Fleming does a wonderful job as Darby and is easily understood, for ...

I think it was a really good book and I enjoyed reading it. it was cute and fluffy and had some fun characters. I like the disabled representation and focus on mental health. Since it was such a fluffy book, it didn’t really dig deep into the topics which is okay. it was a bit instant love which isn’t my favourite trope but it was okay in the book. Overall, it was a nice little book.
