Charles H. Spurgeon (1834â1892) was a British Baptist preacher who remains highly influential. In addition, Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, poetry, hymnist and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were later translated into many languages.
Christopher Glyn trained as a stage actor at the Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in the United Kingdom. After receiving Jesus, he forsook a career as a Shakespearean actor to devote his life to missionary work, with a personal calling to minister through radio.
