About this audiobook

It began with Eragon . . . It ends with Inheritance.

Not so very long ago, Eragon-Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider-was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Why is so much of the story left out? I thought to listen to a part of the book while driving and then to continue reading the actual book when I had the time. While finding my spot I got confused many times by parts I had not heard yet but which happened way before the last things I did here. Entire chapters are left out, for some reason and most of the rest is shortened by quite a bit. The storytelling itself isn't bad but I hate missing out on that much

This narration ruins an epic tale. Accents are completely different from last 3 books. Arya sounds like a blend of a cheesy transylvanian count with an italian accent. The herbalist is now a *southern bell* and nasuada omg when did she become indian /pakistani? Its just so wrong.
