Another amazing book in the King’s Men series! Shield of the Mighty is an inspiring, thrilling story with action, romance, & compelling characters! Connilyn Cossette brings so much heart to this faith filled story. I enjoyed the instant attraction, captor/captive, slow burn romance and the beautiful messages woven throughout the story. I loved the way this Biblical time period was brought to life in such a vivid, exciting way. Highly recommend to Biblical & historical fiction fans!

Zevi was fierce and loyal, Yochana courageous and compassionate. Both were worthy of rooting for. I loved them! Author Connilyn Cossette has a talent for making the world of the Bible come to life in an extraordinary way! I was very excited to continue the adventures of the four cousins in The King’s Men series and, after having read Shield of the Mighty, I’m just as excited to continue doing so with whatever the author has in store next!
