This book. Holy moly. Remo so far is my FAVORITE of all the men. I know I said that about Mateo but I was wrong and I am sorry. Remo is hotttt. But daddy Remo is torching my soul. Serafina was PERFECTION for him. She gave him a run for his money alright. You dont just kidnap a girl and expect her to fall at your feet. No not this girl. I was so mad at her family for how they treated the twins. But in the end it had a perfect ending. I loved them so much. I am STILL swooning. 5 stars. Really 10 stars for Remo and Fina.

For Remo's voice to be portrayed by Tor holy moly 😍 That deep voice hubba hubba lol As for Charley portraying Serafina, she is how I imagined she would sound like mature and wouldn't back down from Remo no matter how much of a jerk he is. Love all of Cora's books ❤❤

I LOVED the narrators for this audiobook, they were exactly as I imagined the characters, capturing every nuance and emotion. Listening to the audiobook after having read the ebook I realized my rating was a little different. In an audiobook you don’t skim over anything, and I must have when reading. I still liked the story, and I still really liked Remo, but I found Serafina to be repetitive. She kept thinking the same things as justification, even as you could see her character developing in so many ways. That is where I am conflicted, because I would be alternate between rooting for her and rolling my eyes at her. Overall, she is a great character and I loved the dynamic between her and Remo, and her and Sam. My favourite part of the book didn’t change, and that is when Scuderi got his due!.
