If you get envious to anyone in your life, then you will just invite your own downfall and destruction. Your envious nature will pollute your pious mind, heart and soul. You will become your own enemy. You will unable to focus on your own work. You will lose your own energy, caliber and potential. You will always get distracted from your own goals and missions of life. You will just wander in your life. You will never attain your inner joy, happiness and peace. You will turn your beautiful life into a hell. 

Therefore, the wise man never gets envious to anyone. He always focuses on himself and on his own work.
