Seth and Evan are trying to protect another potential victim from the witch disciples, and their experiences dredge up past trauma. This volume of the series has plenty of action and tense moments. Seth and Evan are still learning to navigate their relationship which also adds a bit of tension. The tension is nicely balanced with a few romantic moments, a couple breaks for a bit of levity, and a handful of steamy scenes. You may never look at Christmas lights the same way again. Kale Williams does another great job of narrating this story with an even larger cast of characters to voice.
