Now in command of the 303rd Fighter Squadron, Colonel Matt Pontowski, grandson of a former U.S. President, attempts to boost the morale of his pilots who know their killer A-10 Warthog aircraft are due to be phased out. When trouble erupts in Hong Kong and southern China, his wing volunteers for a dangerous undercover mission against the world's most feared and volatile super-power. Along with the 'Junkyard Dogs' they exploit the situation to achieve what they now know has to be done.

Richard Herman retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1983 with the rank of Major after serving for twenty-one years. The author of ten technothrillers, he now lives in Gold River, California.

Joe Barrett has been a working stage, screen, and recording booth actor since 1974 and an award-winning and eight-time Audie Award-nominated audiobook narrator since 1999. He also practiced law for five years-but don't hold that against him. Joe is married to actress Andrea Wright, and together they have four children.
