About this audiobook

Time seemed to collapse...There was a sharp stabbing sensation in my stomach...Steve crowed, "Now I have you! Now you're gonna die!"

Dead if he loses—damned if he wins. The time has finally come for Darren to face his archenemy, Steve Leopard, and fight for control of the night. One of them will die. The other will become the Lord of the Shadows ... and destroy the world.

Is the future written, or can Darren trick destiny?

So... In other words, his life, his sacrifices, meant anything. I hated the ending it was horrible. And honestly they should have put all of this in one book and not put it in to 13 books and charged out the Yin-Yang lying about how many pages each book had in it. each book only had like a hundred pages or less when they said there was like 300 pages per book. And, spoiler alert: if Mr tiny was his dad it would not have mattered if he went back and saved young Darren. The end didn't make sense.

I started reading this series after I saw the movie. I knew what was going to happen throughout the books; I guessed the ending of the series during the Lord of Shadows (although I did not see the end of that book coming) and still love this series. I do wish we knew more about what happens to other Darren but perhaps that is another story.
