In Assembling Life, David Deamer addresses questions that are the cutting edge of research on the origin of life. About the author
David Deamer is Research Professor of Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His current research focuses on how DNA and RNA emerged on the early Earth before life began. Deamer served as the President of the International Society for the Study of the Origin of Life from 2011-2014.
Stephen R. Thorne is a professional actor and a member of the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island. He has played Hamlet, Henry V, and Tom Joad, among many other roles. Stephen has narrated over fifty audiobooks.
