I was blown away by the depth and breadth of this book on the cultural and societal development of Thailand. The author clearly did extensive research and has a deep understanding of the topic. I learned so much about Thailand's history and culture that I never knew before, and I found the story of its development to be truly captivating. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in Thailand or the history of Southeast Asia.
