He is en route to an appointment with the department shrink when an Asian body turns up in the Harlem River. Quickly assigned to the case, Jack finds a corpse with no identification and faces questions as to how—and why—the dead man wound up in the water. His investigation leads him on a journey into Chinatown's restaurants, strip clubs, and seedy gambling establishments.
Henry Chang was born and raised in New York’s Chinatown, where he still lives. He is a graduate of Pratt Institute and the City College of New York. He is the author of Chinatown Beat and Year of the Dog, part of the Detective Jack Yu series.
Feodor Chin, an AudioFile Earphones Award–winning narrator, is an actor classically trained at the American Conservatory Theater and UCLA. His acting career includes numerous credits in film, television, theater, and voice-over.
