Brown is a Harvard College Magna Cum Laude graduate as well as a Harvard MBA. As a product manager at Birdseye, he discovered how price mattered a ton. In his Umbroller days he saw that as at APC, Cosco baby furniture, and now Simply Media auidiobooks and eBooks. He has learned to build his companies around low costs to permit profitable operations much as Google, Walmart, and Amazon do on a far higher level.
