The story begins with the protagonist, Michael, sitting at his desk, writing in a worn-out journal. His eyes are weary, his expression troubled.
With a creepy laugh Michael said, “Diary of a Madman, That's what they'd call this if they ever found it.”
Michael scribbles furiously in his diary, his handwriting shaky and erratic. His thoughts spill onto the pages, a jumble of fears and paranoia.
Michael: (Writing) “I can't shake this feeling of being watched. Shadows dance at the edges of my vision, whispers echo in my ears.”
Outside, the world bustles by, but Michael's world seems confined to the claustrophobic walls of his apartment. He paces back and forth, glancing nervously at the windows. Michael: (Writing) “They're plotting against me, I know it, Their eyes follow me, judging, condemning.
The phone rings, startling Michael. He hesitates before picking it up, his voice strained.
Michael: (On the phone) “Hello?”
“Michael, it's Sarah, Are you okay? You sound... tense.”
Michael answers in a nervous tone, “I'm fine, Just tired.”
He hangs up abruptly, his mind racing with thoughts of conspiracy and suspicion. Michael's behavior becomes increasingly erratic.
