Through a Space-Time Visualiser the Doctor and his companions are horrified to see an execution squad of Daleks about to leave Skaro on a mission to find the TARDIS and exterminate the time travellers. Eluding the Daleks on the barren planet Aridius the Doctor and his friends escape in the TARDIS. But this is only the beginning of an epic journey. 作者简介

John Peel was born in Nottingham in 1954. He moved to America in 1981, became the editor of Fantasy Empire and started to write fiction shortly afterwards. His first novel was Uptime, Downtime (1992) and he has since written over a hundred books, including two Doctor Who Target books based on the serial 'The Daleks' Masterplan': Mission to the Unknown and The Mutation of Time.
