Shroud of Sorrow is read by Frances Barber, who played Madame Kovarian in the Doctor Who episodes A Good Man Goes to War and The Wedding of River Song.

Tommy Donbavand is the author of the 13-book Scream Street series, published in over a dozen languages worldwide, and the winner of the 2011 Hackney Short Novel Award.
