When Dr. Cyrus Mills returned home after inheriting his estranged father's veterinary practice, the last thing he wanted was to stay in Eden Falls, Vermont. Nick Trout graduated from veterinary school at the University of Cambridge, England, in 1989, and he is the author of the New York Times bestseller Tell Me Where It Hurts, The Patron Saint of Dogs, and Love Is the Best Medicine. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife, daughters, and two dogs: Meg, a yellow Labrador, and Sophie, a Jack Russell terrier.
A veteran of stage and screen, Peter Berkrot's career spans four decades, and his voice can be heard on television, radio, video games, and documentaries. He has been nominated for an Audie Award and has received a number of AudioFile Earphones Awards and starred reviews.
