About this audiobook

In the small town of Ghostville, there was a legend that sent shivers down the spines of its residents. The legend of The Ghouls Grin. It was said that on dark, moonless nights, a ghastly figure could be seen lurking in the shadows, its twisted face contorted into a malevolent grin that seemed to stretch unnaturally wide, baring razor-sharp fangs.

The townspeople lived in fear of The Ghouls Grin, whispering stories of its supernatural powers and insatiable hunger for human souls. Tales were told of those who had encountered the ghoul and been driven mad by its horrific visage. Some claimed its grin could paralyze victims with sheer terror.

"I saw it once, by the old cemetery," an old man at the tavern recounted in a hushed voice. "Grinning at me through the fog like a pumpkin with a mouth full of knives. Seemed to drain the warmth right out of my bones."

No one dared to venture out after dark, for fear of encountering the ghoul and facing a fate worse than death. Families bolted their doors at night, praying the ghoul's rattling breaths would not come scraping along their windows.

One fateful night, a group of five adventurous teenagers-Mark, Brenda, Peter, Amy, and Jack-decided they no longer believed the silly legend of The Ghouls Grin.

"It's just a story parents tell to keep kids in line," scoffed Jack. "There's no such thing as ghouls or grinning monsters."

They gathered at the abandoned Ghostwood Manor on the outskirts of town, its decrepit walls and shadowy grounds long rumored to be a lair of The Ghouls Grin.
