About the author

Dr. Edmund P. Clowney is a pastor, writer, and one time seminary president for Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He was educated at Wheaton College, Westminster Theological Seminary, Yale Divinity School, and Union Seminary in New York City. Clowney has written numerous books on the subject of religion, among them The Church, The Way of the Cross, and The Unfolding Mystery: Discovering Christ in the Old Testament. Clowney resides in Escondido, California, where he is an adjunct professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. Since recording his first book for the Kansas Audio Reader Network in 1985, Tom Parks has enjoyed giving voice to stories. He has been nominated for Audie Awards and has received several AudioFile Earphones Awards, and reviewers have described his performances as "conversational," "energetic," and "sincere."
