Born in Stirling, Scotland, Eleanor Nilsson moved to Australia with her family in 1952 at the age of 12. The House Guest (1992) was winner of the 1992 Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year Award for Older Readers, winner of the Alan Marshall Prize for Children's Literature in the 1992 Victorian Premier's Literary Awards and winner of the National Children's Book Award in the 1992 Adelaide Festival Awards for Literature. She now teaches courses in children's literature and the writing of children's books at the University of South Australia. She lives in Coromandel Valley, Adelaide, with her husband, and has two grown children.
Stig Wemyss is Australia’s most loved audiobook narrator for children and young adults. For the last three years he has been the recipient of the ABIA audiobook of the year award, including for the widely acclaimed debut novel by Trent Dalton, Boy Swallows Universe. Stig has written his own successful audiobook series entitled, The Tripp Diaries, which he also narrates. His success and popularity have led him to develop a one-man comedy show for kids entitled, “Stig Live @ The Library”, which has performed in schools and libraries around Australia, New Zealand and The United Kingdom.
