Lion in the Valley

I had originally read this series when they were first published, and am rereading them (or listening to them) again because I injoyed the characters, the era in which they are set, and their many adventures. These stories have many similarities to other Novels I have read (set at the turn of the century) when: science, history, and archeology were discovering many lost relics. But I really love the tone and flow of the story as Emily tells the reader all the obsticals she experiences while trying to balance her career, family, and life. But I really do love a good mystery!
