Determined to reinvent her life, Ellie sets out on a journey across the country. Along the way to nowhere in particular, she buys a camper, becomes friends with a remarkable octogenarian, and starts to believe that good luck might also come in threes. Or does it? That depends on how she defines good luck.

Diane Winger is the author of several novels, including Ellie Dwyer's Great Escape, Memories & Secrets, and The Daughter's Baggage. In addition to writing fiction, Diane has coauthored several guidebooks on outdoor recreation along with her husband, Charlie. They live in western Colorado.

Laural Merlington has recorded well over one hundred audiobooks and has received several AudioFile Earphones Awards, including one for Never Say Die by Susan Jacoby.
