The concept of being snowed in at Christmas delivers coziness and that is what ends up happening to former lovers and writers, Jess and Nick when they attend an awards ceremony. The emotions of past hurts and misunderstandings are all brought to light when the two are forced to be around each other, and it pulled at my heartstrings as the author made me feel like I was right there feeling it all along with them. Additionally, Nick’s grand gesture at the end was one of the best ones.
