Family Matters 1st Edition written by Sonya Watson and narrated by Natalie Naudus is an excellent collection of four short stories. These short stories are a darker version of the four nursery rhymes ‘Mary Mary Quite Contrary", "Mary Had a Little Lamb", "Ring a Ring o' Roses", and "Jack and Jill". Each story presents a unique theme of blood not being the thicker desire of the individual. I really enjoyed the first short story the most. The darkness in these light children’s nursery rhymes provides some interesting food for thought. It is fun once you do find out how her garden really grows. Not something you would want to tell the little ones before bed. Ms. Watson has crafted a fantastic audiobook that holds the listener's attention through the entire performance. The narration by Natalie Naudus is excellent. This is the first time I have heard a vocal performance from this narrator but Ms. Naudus did an excellent job with this wide and varied cast of characters. Each character was given a unique voice and all very enjoyable. The production value of this audiobook was of the highest quality. It was produced by Ms. Watson and the production was clear and crisp through the entire performance. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review
