David Harris is a writer and adventurer who, against all odds, searched for and eventually discovered the ancient Roman city of Li-jien in far-west China. Always an adventurer, he has travelled the Silk Road and other parts of Asia and the Pacific. David's books include fiction for adults and young readers, histories, biographies, travel, textbooks, an illustrated book for children, and anthologies. He has taught children of all ages, lectured about writing in universities, was an education consultant in literacy, and gives talks and workshops in schools around Australia.

Peter Hardy has performed for theatre, television and film, in bands and on radio. He toured The Tempest in Bali and The French Revolution through Australia. He has performed the one-man play Chasing Rabbits in Melbourne and New York, as well as performing in the hit musical Mamma Mia.
