Miss Gail's writing is devine. I have the whole Parasol protectorate in book form as well as the Finishing school series all sublime to read. Adding the audiobooks to my collection now on audible but had to buy this one here as it wasn't available there. Highly recommended to all who like steampunk adventures with the supernatural wonders of werewolf packs and vampire hives.

Ms. Carriger began writing in order to cope with being raised in obscurity by an expatriate Brit and an incurable curmudgeon. She escaped small town life and inadvertently acquired several degrees in Higher Learning.
