About this audiobook

Animal Farm is a satirical allegorical novella by George Orwell, first published in England on 17 August 1945. The book tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. Ultimately, the rebellion is betrayed, and the farm ends up in a state as bad as it was before, under the dictatorship of a pig named Napoleon

It is a good story and gives lots of life lessons. I did not like the way the audio was read on this verson. It was read by artificial intelligence and not a human. It was kind of like listening to a robot. Or Google translate. Annoying when he says "minus" every time there is a hyphenated word. It took me quite a while to figure out why the word "minus" was being used so much. A.I. is no replacement for a real human reading a book. Will not keep in my library. Spend $ on better read version .
