George Salton survived ten Nazi concentration camps and emigrated to the United States in 1947, where he forged a new life. He proudly served in the US Army and became an American citizen. In 2002 George and his daughter, Anna Salton Eisen, cowrote his bestselling memoir, The 23rd Psalm.

A classically trained actor, he has worked both on stage and behind the microphone for most of his career. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Steven now resides in scenic western Massachusetts.

Michael Berenbaum is a professor of Jewish studies and director of the Sigi Ziering Institute at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. The author or editor of twenty-three books, he was the project director overseeing the creation of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the director of its Research Institute.
