Great book. HP Lovecraft is wonderful. One star specifically for the narrators. Who ever these guys are that are narrating are the worst. Slurred speech, mis-pronouciation, monotone speaking are just a few of the issues with the speakers of this book. I am greatly disappointed with the quality of those chosen to read these great works. Shame on whoever hired them, and shame on them for doing such a terrible, just awful job. two thumbs down. 👎🏻👎🏻

Granted I am a new user of Google audio books (this is my first purchase), so I'm not sure if this is true for all audio books on the Google platform but I was incredibly disappointed to find that none of the 166 chapters have names in the book's contents. The contents merely lists them as "Chapter 1," Chapter 2," etc. making it impossible to find a specific short story without going to the book's listing on the store where the chapter numbers have been given names in the item description.

The narrator starts sentences loud but soon reads softer and softer until the sentence almost ends in a mumble. Also, you can tell what words the narrator has never said as he pronounces them wrong. He speaks rigid like he is reading a book and not narrating stories.
