Claire Stanfordâs fiction and essays have appeared in The Rumpus, Black Warrior Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Millions, Electric Lit, Literary Hub, and other publications. She received her MFA from the University of Minnesota and her PhD in English at the University of California, Los Angeles. Born and raised in Berkeley, she currently lives in Reno, where she is an assistant professor of English at the University of Nevada, Reno.
