Hidden Shifts

Agent Camphor Buckley, family man, Zombie Horde Prevention Task Force Agent, target. Agent Buckley is ambushed and shot during a routine zombie hunt. Buckley's son Jonah disappears from where he’s visiting his grandmother in the Gray Hills. Buckley's wife, Dappled Waters, is kidnapped the night of the ambush as well. To make matters worse, Buckley’s long-kept secrets are revealed.

The Director of the Zombie Horde Prevention Task Force, Agent Bill Orange has kicked him off the case and pushed him to the sidelines. Buckley calls his friend, retired Agent Dave Whatsun to help him after his family's been kidnapped. But Dave soon becomes embroiled in serious problems with his own life.
