House of Shadows

House of shadows is the second book in the Royal houses series and picks up right after the house of dragons.. Kerrigan Argon is the first Half-Fae to win the dragon tournament and become a member of "The Soceity". To become a member officially, Kerrigan has to travel to the House of Shadows with Fordham and complete a year of training. Being a half fae is not easy and i loved the resilience and strength with which Kerrigan handles the challenges thrown her way at every step. And we get to see the reason behind the mysterious side of Fordham.. I dont want to go in detail as it would give away spoilers. But, House of Dragons is a fast paced, action packed adventure.. So much revelations happen in this book and with that shocking ending, I cant wait for the next book already.. I have always loved K.A Linde's books.. But her fantasy ones are my favorite.. The world she creates and the flow of the story are just brilliant...

OMG OMG OMG!! I can’t believe I have to wait a whole year for the House of Curses!! This book was everything I have come to expect but didn’t know I needed in Fantasy novel reading! I’m so happy I took the plunge with The Affiliate years ago, which brought me to this book now. The development of Kerrigan (and Fordham!) throughout this tale is exquisite and I am left grasping for more and can’t believe I need to wait a whole year to learn the fate of this group. I would thoroughly recommend this book (and the whole series, including the ones in the series prior and anything coming henceforth!). READ IT! You won’t regret it!
