Lauren writes psychological suspense and thriller novels that delve into the darker side of relationships and families. She has a lifelong passion for writing, reading, and all things books. Lauren writes book club thrillers as LC North and psychological thrillers as Lauren North. Lauren's love of psychological suspense has grown since childhood and her dark imagination of always wondering what's the worst thing that could happen in every situation. Lauren studied psychology before moving to London where she lived and worked for many years. She now lives with her family in the Suffolk countryside.

Emma Woods is a British actress and voiceover artist who has worked across theatre, television and film. Notable screen appearances include roles in BBC’s Miranda and Heyday Films’ Testament of Youth. On stage she has appeared in The Sonnet Walk at Shakespeare’s Globe and James Cary’s The God Particle. Emma has previously narrated Tanya Blanchard's A Woman of Courage and The Teacher's Secret by Lauren North.
