corny, this book was not worth the buy, no surprises and very predictable, writer goes into crazy amount of detail which makes the book much longer than it needs to be, I feel as if this writer is full of hate and isn't to happy with himself, it like reading an action movie director by a kid, nothing is believable

Well written novel with in depth knowledge of tactics, equipment, and geopolitics. Carr delivers a great thriller just like his last 3 books. I would put this on par with Clancys Rainbow Six for a biological terror thriller in a geopolitical backdrop.

Having purchased all of Jack's books now to enjoy in the audiobook format, The Devil's Hand is my favorite aside from The Terminal List. I am a fan of this author, having first seen him on my favorite podcasts and now having enjoyed all of his books. I recommend to anyone to get into this series of books. Very exciting and intriguing content, full of technical correctness and vivid descriptions that make it more enjoyable to really flow along with the storytelling. Bravo!

About the author
Jack Carr is a former Navy SEAL who led special operations teams as a team leader, platoon commander, troop commander, and task unit commander. Over his twenty years in Naval Special Warfare, he transitioned from an enlisted SEAL sniper to a junior officer leading assault and sniper teams in Iraq and Afghanistan, to a platoon commander practicing counterinsurgency in the southern Philippines, to commanding a special operations task unit in the most Iranian influenced section of southern Iraq throughout the tumultuous drawdown of US Forces. Jack retired from active duty in 2016 and lives with his wife and three children in Park City, Utah. He is the author of The Terminal List, True Believer, Savage Son, The Devil’s Hand, In the Blood, Only the Dead, Red Sky Mourning, and Targeted: Beirut. His debut novel, The Terminal List, was adapted into the #1 Prime Video series starring Chris Pratt. He is also the host of the top-rated Danger Close podcast.
