About this audiobook

Military Sci-Fi Adventure Series - In a Post Apocalyptic far future, there is only one thing that can save the fragile civilizations humanity has cobbled together: the mechs. A ragtag crew of mech pilots must battle the undead hordes, cannibal tribes, and religious cults in a daily race to keep humanity safe. But now a threat worse than anything has surfaced and is growing stronger. The undead have reanimated in their own battle machines and created the rise of the Dead Mechs!

Dead Mech is a zombie-filled, post-apocalyptic, military scifi, mecha action/adventure novel like no other!

The author hops back and forth between scenes constantly. It's really tedious way to tell a story. A 20 minute sitcom would make sense in such a format, but for a novel it's maddening. I love the ambition and imagination of a mech-filled zombie apocalypse, but it does read like an ambitious but inexperienced novice wrote it. Narrator was great, I'd listen to her again, but not the author if this is any example of his other works.

i have listened to this audiobook at least twenty times in the past few months. it is in my top 5 favorite audiobooks. it has a lot of action. it is a good audiobook if u wanna listen to action and combat audio. i like this audiobook because it does have a lot of action and combat audio. but there is no gun shot sounds or anything like that but the description of each combat scene if very detailed and i can imagine it as if i were actually in the middle of the combat. the first couple chapters describe the characters to where i can picture how each character looks. my favorite character is Chief Mechanic Jay Rind. i have always wanted to do what he does in the story. it is a good story if you really wanna get wound up for some reason. i dont recommend listening to it when you wanna sleep because in some sections of the story it has a lot of action. it is a drabble novel: a story which has 100 words in each section. if you get the ebook it says it at the beginning. check it out

This is a puerile "fantasy as sci-fi" story. For the first efforts of a high-school novice, it's quite well written, though it ignores the realities of military discipline, military technology, engineering, tectonics, and programming--and that's after accepting the plot devices of Mechs, Zombies, and [spoiler redacted]. Despite *Dead Mech*'s many short-comings (and one dimensional characters) the story is reasonably compelling. I look forward to reading this author's future works when s/he graduates into an experienced and well-rounded author.
