About this audiobook

A haunting love story...

From Culloden's dark battlefield, Jamie jumps at the chance to go next in the clever scheme to earn his vengeance. He’s grateful to be sent back home to perform the required noble deed. Even though his family passed on centuries ago, the place still has a bit of its old glory—and to his great surprise, it's haunted!

Elspeth is determined to wait for the love of her life, no matter what Jamie has to say about it. After all, he's only interested in helping the American ghost-hunting crew. He's already broken her heart once. She won't let him steal her eternal happiness as well.

Jamie will have to face up to his brother’s sins or he’ll lose his boon. But his most difficult task requires accepting some sins of his own. And if he fails, the lovely Elspeth will suffer...for eternity.

Ghosts of Culloden Moor: Audiobooks: Source: Booksprout. The author has an interesting and immersing writing style complete with likeable characters, humor and romance, and old-fashioned honor and ethics. I enjoyed the well done narration by the two readers. The Scot is easy to understand. The young witch is the perfect character. THE GATHERING, #1 - This is my first audiobook and I was surprised it held my attention. (Thirty-one years with a husband that kept his TV blaring trained me to block

I didn't love this storyline as much as Lachlan's. The narrator did a fantastic job with his voice and Elsbeth's. But I wouldn't qualify this as a romance novel. Jamie and Elsbeth don't interact until halfway through. I found Elsbeth's portrayal a little unbalanced. She's pined for centuries for Jamie's brother and she's haunted his family's estate waiting for him but she's content to spend with Jamie. I will continue with the series but wonder how many other aren't romance as they claim to be.

This is the third book in the The Ghosts of Culloden Moor Series, a Scottish Paranormal Romance. I like this series! Jamie and Elspeth's story is original, well written, emotional and captivating. Andrew McDermott and Jenn McGuirk did a great job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Payton, the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
