Joal Derse Dauer is the author of Saving Sadie. Together she and Sadie travel the country spreading their important messages about special needs acceptance, anti-bullying, and strengthening the laws and punishments regarding animal cruelty and abuse.

Elizabeth Ridley is the author of five novels and coauthor of four memoirs, including Saving Sadie (with Joal Derse Dauer). She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a master's degree in creative writing from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.

With a background of drama and music prevalent in her Midwestern upbringing, award-winning narrator Ann Richardson delights in narrating fiction. In her spare time, Ann volunteers as a narrator for Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic).
