Thirteen voices. Thirteen storeys. One dinner party to die for.
An innovative haunted house tour-de-force from the creator of THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES podcast.
GOING UP?
A dinner party is held in the penthouse of a multimillion-pound development. All the guests are strangers - even to their host, the billionaire owner of the building . None of them know why they were selected to receive his invitation. Whether privileged or deprived, they share only one thing in common - they've all experienced a shocking disturbance within the building's walls.
By the end of the night, their host is dead, and none of the guests will say what happened. His death has remained one of the biggest unsolved mysteries - until now.
But are you ready for their stories?

First time listening to an audio book in a long time, but convinced myself to give it a try after loving Magnus Archives. Was worth the push. My only complaint was that I found it a bit hard to get into the first chapter; even so, it still drew me in. Excellent commentary on the books themes, which I won't spoil here but I will simply say were poignant. Also, thank you Jonny for participating in your own book's audio book. Made me love it that much more. Highly recommended.

Live out your daydreams of eating the rich, and spend 13 hours wondering if you know that voice from somewhere. Great book, great cast, great listen. Unless you're listening while walking alone at night, too scary for that.

I might be a little biased because I already enjoy Sims' other works, but this is just a great book. the different parts are all distinct with good characters (not all likable for good reason) and the narrators are all fantastic.
About the author
Jonathan Sims is a writer, performer and games designer whose work primarily focuses on the macabre, the grotesque, and the gentle touch of creeping dread. He is the mind and the voice behind acclaimed horror podcast The Magnus Archives, high octane space-cabaret The Mechanisms and some of your favourite nightmares. He lives in Walthamstow with the two best cats and an overwhelming backlog of books that he really should get round to.
